The agreement, in plain English.
These terms cover how the membership and the shop work between us. They’re short on purpose. If something here doesn’t match what I told you in email, the email wins . reach out and we’ll clean it up.
Who you’re dealing with
Moon Stone is operated by 500 PLUS, LLC (Delaware), at 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713. One operator (me, Max). Fulfillment runs through a US third-party logistics partner. Reach me at max@moonstonetcg.com.
Who can join
Membership is open to US residents, 18 or older, shipping to a US address. International orders aren’t supported right now . the freight math doesn’t work at this scale. Accounts are personal. You can’t resell membership access, share your login with other households, or use the membership as a reseller channel.
What the membership gets you
$499 per year. Boxes are priced at the live market with a market reference shown next to every price. Free shipping, no fees on any order. Up to 12 boxes per year (annual cap, resets at your renewal). Drops cap at 2 per SKU per month so allocations stay fair; evergreen SKUs have no per-order limit beyond the 12-box annual total. Your rate holds at $499 as long as you renew without lapse; new memberships may be priced differently.
Auto-renewal . what you’re agreeing to
Your membership auto-renews each year at $499 using the payment method on file, until you cancel. You’ll get a renewal reminder by email roughly 30 days before each charge. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard before the next renewal . if you cancel, you keep access through the end of the period you paid for and you won’t be charged again. If your card on file fails at renewal, I’ll email you and the membership pauses (no product orders allowed) until it’s resolved or you cancel.
Monthly membership ($59/mo)
Monthly is the lower-commitment way in: $59 a month, billed monthly to the card on file, until you cancel. It gets you one box per calendar month, preorders only, at the live market price with free US shipping and no fees. Monthly does not include limited drops or the in-stock catalog . those are annual. Your one-box allowance resets on the 1st and does not roll over. If you order past the monthly allowance, the extra order is refunded.
Upgrade to annual, anytime. Within 90 days of joining monthly, the monthly payments you have made come off the $499 annual price, up to three months ($177). Upgrading switches you to annual on the spot, cancels the monthly plan, and your annual box allowance for the rest of the year accounts for any box you already took this month.
Cancel or switch down, anytime. Cancel monthly from your dashboard and you keep access through the month you have paid for, with no further charges. You can also switch from annual to monthly . that takes effect at your annual renewal, or sooner if you are cancelling annual and would rather stay on at $59 a month. If a monthly charge fails, I will email you and the membership pauses, with no orders, until the card is fixed or you cancel.
Refunds & cancellation
The full membership-refund and order-issue policy lives on the replacement policy page. Quick version: 30-day membership refund if you cancel before placing an order. After 30 days or after your first order, the membership runs through the end of the paid period and then doesn’t renew. Order issues (damage, missing shrink, wrong SKU, lost in transit) are covered under the replacement policy with named claim windows and evidence requirements.
Payment, taxes, and price changes
Payment runs through Shopify (Shop Pay, major cards, Apple/Google Pay, optional BNPL through Shopify’s partner). I don’t see or store full card numbers. Applicable US sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address. Pre-order pricing is locked at order time. For in-stock products, the price shown when you place the order is the price you pay, even if the market moves before the next batch arrives.
Catalog prices track the live market. The current market price reference is shown next to every box, so you see the market before you order. Prices move with the market, up or down; the price you pay is the price shown at checkout. Moon Stone guarantees the price you pay is never above the market price shown next to the box at the time of your order; if it ever is, Moon Stone refunds the difference. If a listed price is obviously wrong (typo, decimal error, supplier data hiccup), I can cancel the order before it ships and refund you. I’ll email first.
Pre-orders
Pre-order timing depends on supplier batches landing and clearing US customs. I surface estimated dates when I have them, and those dates can shift. If a supplier can’t fulfill a batch I’ve accepted pre-orders against, affected members get a full refund of that line item (this is the only remedy on supplier-side cancellations . full text on the replacement policy page).
Acceptable use
- Don’t use the membership as a reseller-resupply channel or list-broker operation. The cap exists for a reason; structurally circumventing it (multiple accounts, mule shipping addresses) is a cancellation trigger.
- Don’t file chargebacks without contacting me first. Real disputes resolve in one exchange. Chargebacks exist for merchants you can’t reach . you can reach me.
- Don’t reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to access the member-only catalog without an active membership. The catalog is the operator’s pricing work; it’s gated for a reason.
- Don’t impersonate other members, the operator, or Pokémon / Nintendo / The Pokémon Company. Moon Stone is a third-party retailer; it’s not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
Violations can result in suspension or permanent removal. Three chargebacks within 30 days from one member triggers an automatic ban and a fraud filing with the payment processor.
Trademarks & product
Pokémon, Pokémon TCG, and related names and logos are trademarks of Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK Inc., and The Pokémon Company. Moon Stone is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. All sealed product sold here is genuine, sourced through authorized distributors and verified suppliers, and shipped factory-sealed. “Moon Stone,” the receipt-ledger visual identity, and all original site copy are property of 500 PLUS, LLC.
What I don’t warrant
Sealed product is sold as a sealed box. I don’t make any claim about what’s inside (pull rates, specific chase cards, condition of cards inside the seal, secondary-market value, grading outcomes). Manufacturer pull rates are public and unaffected by where you buy the box. Secondary-market prices move; that’s the market’s job, not mine. I source genuine sealed product and ship it to you intact . that’s the warranty.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, remedies are capped at the price you paid for the affected line item (or, for membership disputes, the annual membership fee). I’m not liable for consequential or downstream losses (resale margin, grading outcomes, opportunity cost, secondary-market price moves). This doesn’t limit any rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law that can’t be waived.
Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If we have a dispute, email me first at max@moonstonetcg.com. If we can’t resolve it that way, the dispute will be brought in state or federal court in Delaware, and we each consent to that venue. Nothing here prevents either of us from seeking emergency injunctive relief.
Changes
If I change these terms in any material way (auto-renewal price, cap structure, refund policy), I’ll email active members ahead of the change. Existing members keep their current terms through the end of their annual period; new terms take effect at renewal. Non-material changes (clarifications, contact info, address) take effect when posted.
If you need to reach me
