The agreement, in plain English.
These terms cover how the membership and the shop work between us. They’re short on purpose. If something here doesn’t match what I told you in email, the email wins; reach out and we’ll clean it up.
Who you’re dealing with
Moon Stone is operated by 500 PLUS, LLC (Delaware), doing business as Moon Stone, at 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713. One operator (me, Max). Fulfillment runs through a US third-party logistics partner. Reach me at max@moonstonetcg.com.
Who can join
Membership is open to US residents, 18 or older, shipping to a physical US address. International orders and PO boxes aren’t supported. Freight forwarders and reshippers are allowed case by case, but Moon Stone’s shipping responsibility ends once the carrier confirms delivery to that US address. Accounts are personal. You can’t resell membership access, share your login with other households, or use the membership as a reseller channel. You’re responsible for activity on your account; enable two-factor authentication anywhere your login or payment tools support it. Name, email, login, recovery, and ownership changes require manual approval by email.
What the membership gets you
$549 per year. Eligible Pokémon TCG products count as units and show prices before you order, with a pricing reference included when available. Free U.S. shipping, with no buyer, platform, payment, or service fees beyond applicable taxes. Up to 12 units per year (membership-year allocation, resets at your renewal), yours to use all at once or spread across the year. Limited-drop and evergreen SKUs alike have no per-order limit beyond the 12-unit yearly total; drops may sell out. You keep the terms you paid for through the paid period; renewal terms are shown before the next renewal.
Auto-renewal and what you’re agreeing to
Your membership auto-renews each year at $549 using the payment method on file, until you cancel. You’ll get a renewal reminder by email roughly 30 days before each charge. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard before the next renewal; if you cancel, you keep access through the end of the period you paid for and you won’t be charged again. If your card on file fails at renewal, you have a 30-day past-due grace period. Benefits remain visible during grace, but orders are not fulfilled unless the past-due membership payment is collected first. If the account is not brought current within 30 days, the membership ends and unused units expire.
Trial Membership ($59/month)
Trial Membership is the lower-commitment way in: $59/month, billed on each Trial renewal date until you cancel. It gets you one unit per billing cycle from standard, non-limited inventory while it’s available, with the product price shown before you order, free U.S. shipping, and no buyer fees beyond applicable taxes. Trial Membership does not include Moon Stone Membership limited drops or sourcing requests. Your one-unit allowance resets on your Trial renewal date, not the calendar month, and unused units expire at the end of the billing cycle with no rollover. If you order past the allowance, the extra order is refunded.
Upgrade to Moon Stone Membership, anytime. The upgrade takes effect at your next renewal date and bills at the full $549. Trial payments do not reduce the Moon Stone Membership price. You start Moon Stone Membership with a fresh 12-unit allocation; unused Trial units do not carry over, and the Trial plan ends when Moon Stone Membership begins.
Pause, cancel, or switch down. You can pause once per membership year for 1 month from your dashboard. Ordering, limited drops, new sourcing requests, and credit usage pause during the freeze; existing orders continue. Trial billing pauses, and Moon Stone Membership renewal/allocation timing extends by the actual pause length. Credits remain visible but unusable during pause and keep aging. Cancel Trial Membership from your dashboard and you keep access through the month you have paid for, with no further charges. You can also switch from Moon Stone Membership to Trial Membership; that takes effect at your Membership renewal. If a Trial charge fails, the same 30-day past-due grace applies.
Refunds & cancellation
The full membership-refund and order-issue policy lives on the replacement policy page. Quick version: 30-day membership refund if you cancel before placing an order and before using membership benefits. Once an order is placed or Moon Stone commits a supplier order, the membership runs through the end of the paid period and then doesn’t renew. Order issues (damage, missing shrink, wrong SKU, missing item, lost in transit) are covered under the replacement policy with named claim windows and evidence requirements. Refunds go to the original payment method.
Payment, taxes, and price changes
Payment runs through Shopify (Shop Pay, major cards, Apple/Google Pay, optional BNPL through Shopify’s partner). I don’t see or store full card numbers. Applicable US sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address. Pre-order pricing is locked at order time. For in-stock products, the price shown when you place the order is the price you pay, even if the market moves before the next batch arrives.
The catalog shows each product price before you order. A pricing reference is shown when one is available; when no reliable reference exists, Moon Stone may use supplier list price and label it. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout. If Moon Stone overcharges because of a pricing mistake, Moon Stone refunds the difference. If a listed price is obviously wrong (typo, decimal error, supplier data hiccup), I can cancel the order before it ships and refund you. I’ll email first.
Pre-orders
Pre-order timing depends on supplier batches landing and clearing US customs. I surface estimated dates when I have them, and those dates can shift. A preorder counts as a unit when placed, not when shipped. If a supplier can’t fulfill a batch I’ve accepted pre-orders against, affected members get a full refund of that line item to the original payment method and the unit is restored if the membership is still active. If the membership has ended, restored units are forfeited.
Storage as a service
If you choose to store a box instead of shipping it, Moon Stone stores it for you. The box is yours. Title to every stored box stays with you, the member, the whole time it is in storage. Moon Stone holds it as a custodian providing storage as a service; storing a box is not a sale to Moon Stone and not a deposit. Storage begins when Moon Stone confirms receipt of the box in its system. Stored inventory is kept sealed and recorded against member records.
How your box is held. Stored boxes are pooled by exact product: same SKU, same edition, same language, same product configuration, same condition class. Your storage entry entitles you to a conforming sealed unit from that exact pool, not to one specific serialized box. Every open storage entry is backed one-for-one by a physical unit in that pool, and a database rule enforces that backing before an entry can open. When you withdraw, you receive a conforming unit from the matching pool.
Ship it home whenever you want. You can withdraw any stored box at any time with free U.S. shipping, signature required, tracking provided. Withdrawal uses no membership unit; the unit was used when you bought the box.
What Moon Stone does not promise. Moon Stone does not provide financial advice and does not guarantee product appreciation, resale value, or that another member will claim a box you list, or how quickly. Sealed product is a collectible. Market prices move in both directions; that is the market’s job, not mine. If a stored box is lost or damaged in storage, Moon Stone’s responsibility is capped at the price you paid for it, replaced or refunded at Moon Stone’s discretion.
Trade status
Trade is not currently available. When Moon Stone enables it, eligible stored products may be listed for another member or offered to Moon Stone for Moon Stone credit. Cash payouts are not available. No seller fee will be deducted from an eligible Moon Stone credit settlement. The product remains yours unless and until an eligible Trade completes.
Cancelling with boxes in storage
If you cancel your membership while boxes are in storage, everything ships home. When your cancellation request is received, you get a 24-hour window to confirm or update your shipping address (reactivating your membership within that window stops the process). After the window closes, the address locks and all of your stored boxes are withdrawn and shipped to you as one consolidated shipment: free U.S. shipping, signature required, tracking provided. Any release listing that no other member has claimed is cancelled and the box ships with the rest. If the address on file fails verification, the shipment is held and I contact you directly; nothing ships blind.
If your membership lapses
If your membership ends without a cancellation request, your stored boxes stay yours and stay put. For 90 days from the day the membership ends, everything is held exactly as you left it: rejoin at the standard membership price and your storage and your history pick up where they stopped. Any release listing that was open is cancelled when the membership ends and the box simply stays in storage as yours; you can list it again at the then-displayed Release price when you rejoin. If you haven’t rejoined or requested withdrawal by the end of the 90 days, all stored boxes ship to your address on file in one consolidated shipment at actual carrier cost, because the storage service has ended. If the address or payment method fails, I hold the boxes and contact you by email before anything else happens.
Acceptable use
- Don’t use the membership as a reseller-resupply channel or list-broker operation. The cap exists for a reason; structurally circumventing it (multiple accounts, mule shipping addresses) is a cancellation trigger.
- Don’t file chargebacks without contacting me first. Real disputes resolve in one exchange. Chargebacks exist for merchants you can’t reach; you can reach me.
- Don’t use bots, scripts, automation, checkout manipulation, scraping, reverse-engineering, or attempts to access the member-only catalog without an active membership. The catalog is the operator’s pricing work; it’s gated for a reason.
- Don’t impersonate other members, the operator, or Pokémon / Nintendo / The Pokémon Company. Moon Stone is a third-party retailer; it’s not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
Violations can result in suspension, order cancellation, membership closure, refusal of service, and forfeiture of allocations, welcome offers, credits, referrals, and benefits where allowed. Unfulfilled product orders may be cancelled and refunded to the original payment method; correctly fulfilled orders remain final. Related accounts may be reviewed case by case. Three chargebacks within 30 days from one member triggers an automatic ban and a fraud filing with the payment processor.
Trademarks & product
Pokémon, Pokémon TCG, and related names and logos are trademarks of Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK Inc., and The Pokémon Company. Moon Stone is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. Products are sold as sealed units and shipped in the condition described on the product page. “Moon Stone,” the receipt-ledger visual identity, and all original site copy are property of 500 PLUS, LLC d/b/a Moon Stone.
What I don’t warrant
Sealed product is sold as a sealed unit. I don’t make any claim about what’s inside (pull rates, specific chase cards, condition of cards inside the seal, secondary-market value, grading outcomes). Manufacturer pull rates are public and unaffected by where you buy the unit. Secondary-market prices move; that’s the market’s job, not mine. Moon Stone ships the sealed product described on the product page; order issues are handled under the replacement policy.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, remedies are capped at the price you paid for the affected line item (or, for Moon Stone Membership disputes, the membership fee). I’m not liable for consequential or downstream losses (resale margin, grading outcomes, opportunity cost, secondary-market price moves). This doesn’t limit any rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law that can’t be waived.
Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If we have a dispute, email me first at max@moonstonetcg.com. If we can’t resolve it that way, the dispute will be brought in state or federal court in Delaware, and we each consent to that venue. Nothing here prevents either of us from seeking emergency injunctive relief.
Changes
If I change these terms in any material way (auto-renewal price, cap structure, refund policy), I’ll email active members ahead of the change. Existing members keep their current terms through the end of their membership year; new terms take effect at renewal. Non-material changes (clarifications, contact info, address) take effect when posted.
